Climax and Anti Climax
The climax or anti climax should be the biggest highlight of a dance, the dance should be organised so that the whole dance builds up to this movement, it should always confirm the audiences expectation but also surprise them to create a wow effect.
A climax would normally be a large movement, such as a lift, a jump or a fall.
An anti climax would normally be a slow and delicate movement, something that may slowly travel or lower to the ground.
In this video it ends with a climax.

This piece is a good example of a climax because the whole dance was fast and building up to a large moment in which they lifted the dancer in the air while he struggled, flailing his arms and legs around, before carrying him off stage.
I feel that the climax in this dance could have lasted much longer. As the dance has been so lively and energetic the build up made me expect something that was going to be something amazing visually, if the end climax had lasted longer and shown more facial expression, this could have created the effect I was hoping for.
